Back in the early days of American history there were a lot of farmers across the country.

Farmers are the people who grow crops like wheat and corn and many other food items. They grow such large crops they can feed thousands of people.

In those early days they didn't have cell phones, two-way radios, and walkie-talkies to use to call each other. So when the mother of a farm family wanted her husband and kids to come in from the fields to eat a meal, she would ring a great big dinner bell.

Those old dinner bells were loud. They rang them for a long time. Farm families usually had a lot of kids, and they all had chores to do around the farm place. They worked very hard.

When lunch and dinnertime came, they were hungry! Because they were hungry they were already listening for the dinner bell. When it rang, they dropped what they were doing and went running home to eat.

Boys and girls, there's a "dinner bell" in the Spirit for lost sinners. There's a sound that is heard in the hearts of those that are hungry for the true and living God, and when they hear the sound, they come running home to Jesus. The dinner bell is signs, wonders, and miracles.

People who don't know Jesus have been working hard to find a better way to live. They've been working hard at finding truth, hope, and promise for their lives. They are spiritually hungry for something more than what they've experienced.

When they see or hear about miracles of healings and deliverances from drugs, alcohol, and other bondages in people's lives, something in their heart tells them "This is the truth." In their hunger, when they see those signs and wonders, they drawn to Jesus and God our Father.

Kids, we hold some powerful things in our hands—we have the power of the living God inside of us. When we get lazy or maybe fearful to pray for a miracle, we may be keeping people from coming to Jesus!

They may not be interested in what we have to say to them, until they see miracles like their loved ones getting healed, food provided for them, or a job, and so on.

There are many things we can pray and believe God for that will be a dinner bell in people's hearts to make them want to come to Jesus.

You might think, "But I'm just a little kid. How can I do miracles?" By yourself you can't. But you're not by yourself. Jesus said, "Without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5). But, praise God, we're not without Him! He lives inside of us. He's put His power inside of us. How can we be so sure if we pray we will see signs and wonders?

Because our Power Verse tells us so. It says, "These signs shall follow them that believe," not maybe they will follow, or if we've been to Bible school they will follow, or they will follow grown-ups. It says they shall follow believers.

Do you believe in Jesus? Then you're a believer, and signs will follow you. Even Jesus Himself didn't get a whole lot of attention until the day He turned water into wine. That was a miracle! It was a sign He was the Son of God, and it was wonderful to see!

It was when Jesus started laying hands on sick people and they started getting healed, and the blind started seeing people started paying attention to Jesus.

His message never changed. He always preached the "Kingdom of heaven is at hand." But seeing is believing for people who are not Christians.

It's just the opposite for us—as Christians we have to believe first, then we will see the miracles. But for sinners they won't believe until they see. Then they become believers.

We as Christians forget too many times these signs are normal, everyday happenings for us. It should be normal for us to cast out devils. It should be normal for us to see cripples walking. It should be normal for us to speak in tongues, and prophesy. It's amazing how many Christians have the attitude, "Well, that's just the way things are, and there's nothing we can do about it."

It's not true. We've been given the power and authority, and if we are believers, signs shall follow us everywhere we go.

When we have signs following us, people can see what we believe is completely different from the other religions in the world, especially because the miracles are for their benefit.

Be assured when you get into pagan countries with all kinds of false gods that supernatural things happen. But they're usually scary, spooky things used to frighten and control people.

When they see our miracles, they will come running to our kind and loving God. Don't be afraid to step out in faith and believe God for miracles!
