There is a place in God where no storm disturbs the peace you have in Him. It is a place of supernatural peace because your mind and heart are fixed on Him: "A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy, and wrath are like rottenness of the bones." (Prov. 14:30, AMP)

This verse is saying that the thoughts you think and how you conduct yourself with God affect the health of your body.

People who are always envious and jealous of others or who are full of wrath and anxiety are just inviting sickness and disease to take up residence in their bodies.

On the other hand, people who are calm and undisturbed are usually healthier. They have their hearts set on God, and they know that God is their Source and their Deliverer. When evil tidings come, they aren't moved by the bad report. They don't become agitated or live in anxiety and fear.

To abide in that place of rest—a place of continual, undisturbed peace and tranquillity—is something we should all be striving for in our spiritual walk.

How do we attain such a place in God? By filling our hearts with what our Father says about the situation, so that out of our hearts and mouths come only words of faith and deliverance. Every storm or trial looks small when we see things through God's eyes.
