How do you continue to get wisdom? Prov. 2:1-5 talks about this:
My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
(Prov. 2:1-5)
What does it say you must do if you want wisdom?

You can't just hope for it, you can't just ask for it. You have to long for it with all your heart. You have to want to grow in wisdom more than anything else.

When King Solomon had a choice to ask for anything in the world, he said, "Lord, give me wisdom." And because he chose to ask for this noble thing, God gave him everything else that he didn't ask for, too.

The same is true with you—if you get wisdom and begin to think in accordance with God's Word in a wise way, you'll get all the blessings and more than you can possibly imagine.

If you want to make a difference...if you want to do something with your life that counts, the important thing is to grow deep in the things of God so that as you begin to do great things, you have deep roots on the inside to match what you're doing on the outside.

So many people want to do great things even though they aren't very deep on the inside. You have to grow deep in the Word of God, train your thoughts to think the thoughts of God, and pursue wisdom with everything in you.

Take the time to memorize Proverbs 2:1-5. Write these verses down on a card, and take them with you. Make them your heart...your desire...your passion.

Transform the way you think by cramming the Bible in your brain and seeking wisdom with all your heart. Decide that this is the way you're going to be.

You are going to grow up as a mature believer. Begin to think the thoughts of God. Passionately pursue wisdom, not just this week but all of your life. Cry out for it. Call out for it. Yearn for it.

Dive into the Bible and apply it to your mind. Refuse to be an immature Christian all your life. Be determined to grow up in the way you think.
