In the Bible, God seems to make so many distinctions between races. Is He prejudiced?

No! God looks at people according to their relationship with Him and not their race or color. Remember, God created all the people of the earth and He did not make one person better than another. Let's look at a Scripture that demonstrates how God classifies the people of the earth.

"Give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God" (1 Cor. 10:32 NKJ).

The Bible is dealing with Christians offending people by their actions or lifestyles. The Bible also indicates how God classifies the people of the world. God categorizes us as follows: Jews, Gentiles, and the church of God (Christians). These classifications are not racial, but religious or spiritual.

Think about the second group that is mentioned. The Gentiles refers to the non-Jews and non-Christians. It includes every race and ethnic group that is not of the Jewish or Christian faith.

Gentiles are people who fit into the spiritual category of believing anything but the Bible. It's also interesting to note that the church of God (or Christians) is comprised of every ethnic group (Gal. 3:27-29; Rev. 5:8-10).

God isn't against any race or ethnic group. The only way to have a relationship with Him is through the covenant that He has established. The latest and final covenant is through Jesus (Heb. 8:1-13, 12:24).
