"Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God" (Eph. 5:21).

The way to maintain your sanity in insane circumstances is to know how to hear from God.

This is a good point for single people as well as for those who are married. Single person, you need to know how to hear from God before you get married, because you need to know what to do if your spouse begins to get off track.

An insane circumstance could be a marriage situation in which the spouse is getting off track and it is causing the other spouse problems. You don't have time to get mentally involved, especially if you have children. When both of you start acting up, you open your whole family to the enemy.

Somebody has to maintain control and keep the family together. Divorce is NOT an option for Christians. Look to the Word of God for the answer.

Here are some key points to keep the blessings flowing and maintaining a healthy, happy Christian family:
  • Love never fails. (1 Cor. 13)
  • Be like Christ. Ask yourself in any given situation, "What would Jesus do?"
  • Be consistent in the things of God.
  • Fight for your marriage whenever necessary. Remember that the race is not given to the swift, but to those who endure to the end.
  • Never stop going to church. The Bible says, "Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together with other believers."
  • Submit to one another according to Ephesians 5:21.
Lastly, John 10:10 says,
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The enemy's job is to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus defeated him and gave you the victory. Your job is to maintain Satan's defeat.

Always remember that whatever the situation, it is through faith and patience that you win in Jesus' name!
