The enemy will try to bring things against you to try to get you to become weary and faint in your mind. If your mind faints, your words will change.

When you say, "I believe I'm strong today. My faith is right up there. I've been feeding on the Word and nothing can discourage me," that's great.

Four days later, if the problem still seems to be there, still looks bad, are you going to say the same thing? Or are you going to become weary in your mind and say, "I just don't know if this works or not. I've been trying it for four days."

THAT probably is the problem. You don't try faith, you do faith. You don't try God's Word, you apply it and watch it grow.

When Satan tries to get you to become weary and faint in your mind, just take the Word and keep watering that seed.

It doesn't matter if it LOOKS like you're sick, just keep saying, "Thank God, I believe I'm healed." You don't deny that the symptoms are there; you just ignore them and say, "Thank God, I believe the Word, INSTEAD!"

"Let God be true, but every man a liar" (Rom. 3:4).

"All the promises of God in Him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us" (2 Cor. 1:20).

Just believe what the Word says instead.

Get that seed planted out there. Keep watering and watering the seed you've planted. It doesn't matter what it looks like. Don't pull your faith out of the ground, once it's planted.

If you have to wait a day, a week, a month, a year, two years, five years, it doesn't matter. If you'll keep watering that seed it'll grow and produce what you want to see.

Don't get discouraged. Don't become weary and faint in your mind. If problems arise, or the situation looks worse after you've put your faith out there for something, don't let that bother you.

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you" (1 Peter 4:12).

The enemy has just come to try to get you discouraged. Hold fast to what the Word says. Keep saying what the Word says.

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith" (Heb. 10:23).

He didn't say to hold fast to the Word of God. Sometimes we're out there hanging onto the Word. He didn't say to hold onto the Word. He said to hold onto your profession of faith.

Hold fast to your confession of the Word. If you'll confess the Word and hold fast to that confession, the Word will work.
