The word wavering, in the Greek, means to recline, to bow down, to lay down, to wear away.

The definition for wavering in the Noah Webster's 1828 means fluctuating, being in doubt, undetermined, to be in danger of falling. We have to stop wavering. We have to stop laying down in the unseen! It is slowing down the seen! We can't allow Satan to make us recline or bow down or wear away from the promises that we receive through our covenant with God! We have to as Hebrews 10:23 tells us 'to hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering for He is faithful that promised!' God is faithful to His part of the covenant!

Therefore we must remain faithful to our part!! We must become a champion bulldog that is not going to let go of our covenant. The phrase hold fast comes from two Greek words kate and echo. Kate meaning something that comes downward with a dominating force and echo meaning to embrace something and not letting it slip away. Your heart and faith, now in the unseen, needs to embrace with a dominating force your confession And do not let it slip! Make your confession of your covenant rights with such a dominating force that things have to move in the unseen realm and embrace it so long without letting it slip away and things will have to happen in the seen realm.

Let me give you an example of things happening in the unseen before they prospered in the natural. In Daniel 10 we see Daniel is standing for a promise to occur. We find out in verse 4 that Daniel is now going on 21 days of standing for this promise and if you read through the whole story carefully you will see that Daniel is standing on it with a bulldog mentality.

Then in Daniel 10:12 we see an angel coming to visit Daniel saying,

Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before they God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me. (Dan. 10:12)

Things had to happen in the unseen realm for Daniel before they occurred in the seen. The angel tells Daniel that he was heard the first day he prayed and because of Daniel setting his heart and chastening himself, in other words, not giving up, the angel was able to come for Daniel's words! Do you want an angel to come for your words you pray and confess?

But it was not without a fight!! A huge fight went on in the unseen before it ever made it to the seen. Look at verse 13:. "But the prince of Persia, Satan's realm, withstood me one and twenty days."  The angel was in the boxing ring for 21 days. Daniel couldn't see this happening on the earth but it was happening. It was taking place in the unseen.

Now let's read the rest of the verse:. "But, lo, Michael, came to help me." It has now become a tag team wrestling match and guess who wins! Daniel does and we do! Daniel could have given up, but he didn't and the battle waged on in the unseen realm.

How many battles do you think we have forfeited in our lives because we given up before our angel is finished fighting our battle in the unseen? Remember as I stated earlier, things have to happen in the unseen before they happen in the seen. Just imagine this: our angel fighting away and right in the middle of the fight, right at the peak moment for our angel, the towel is thrown in!

AAAAHHHH!!! is what I would want to say! We must develop that champion mentality that we are not going to give up! We are going to stand on our covenant with God! And things are going to happen in the unseen and the seen! True and total victory is ours.
