The Word is full of seeds - there are over 33,000 promises that pertain to life and godliness in the Bible. They are all seeds. But they won't grow and produce results in your life until you plant them.

When you have a need, find a seed that pertains to that need.

The first thing we do when we find an area of our life where there is a problem, or when we see something we want produced in our life, is find the seed that we want to grow. Find a seed that pertains to that problem or that answer.

Then, take that seed and plant it with your faith.

Now, how in the world are you going to do that? It sounds complicated, but it's really not.

There are two ways you can plan the seed: Mark 11:23 or Mark 11:24. You can either SAY IT or you can PRAY IT.

Say It
Mark 11:23 says, "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."

Did He say, "He shall have whatsoever he believeth?"

No! He shall have whatsoever he "saith." He didn't say you would have what you believe. He said you would have what you believe in your heart and say with your mouth.

You can believe a lot of things, but they won't come to pass until you begin to say them out of your mouth. That's how the God-kind of faith works. And Jesus told us to operate in the God kind of faith. So, you have to say it.

Pray It
Mark 11:24 says, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

You can use either one of these two scriptures to plan that seed.

Let's take for example that you need a healing in your body. Take First Peter 2:24, "By whose stripes ye were healed" and plant it with your faith. You can either SAY it or PRAY it - it's up to you.

You can SAY, "Thank God, the Word says by Jesus' stripes I was healed. If I was healed, then I am healed. So thank God, I believe I am healed."

Or, you can PRAY, "Father, You said what things soever I desire when I pray, believe I receive them and I will have them. I desire healing for my body. You said in Your Word that by Jesus' stripes I was healed. Himself took my infirmities and bare my sicknesses. So, I ask You for healing for my body. It is promised in the Word. It is a fact. It is what Jesus provided and accomplished for me. I ask You for it. I believe that I receive it and I thank You for it in Jesus" name. I believe it's mine now."

What if you can't see it or feel it?

That's the best part. You get to believe God, instead. He said, "Let God be true, but every man a liar" (Rom. 3:4). I'd rather believe God's Word than believe my body. If my body feels sick, then one of them is lying and I'd rather accuse my body than accuse God.

So, take that seed (the Word of God) and plant it with your faith. Remember, you plant it either by saying it or praying it.

If you said, "Thank God, I believe I'm healed," or "thank God, I believe I received my healing when I prayed," it will produce healing in your body if you'll leave it alone. It might take a day. It might take a week. It might take a month, depending on a lot of different things. It might take six months. But if you'll leave the seed planted in the ground, it will produce what you've planted it for.

The seed will produce. It is the incorruptible seed of the Almighty God and it will produce what it said it will produce.

Don't Pull It Out
Once the seed gets into the ground, don't pull it out every day by looking at it to see if it's growing. You will kill the poor thing if you keep pulling it out and saying, "Are you growing yet?" and sticking it back in. Eventually, you'll kill it.

That means that once you pray and believe you receive your healing, or once you say, "Thank God, I believe I'm healed," instead of going every day to look and see if the symptoms are gone, just wake up every day saying, "Thank God, I believe I'm healed. I don't care whether it feels like it, whether it looks like it, whether it sounds like it or not. I believe I'm healed because the Word of God says it. I've planted the seed and its growing, mightily. It's producing and it's producing in me."

But, if you get up every day and check the symptoms to see if they're gone yet (that's like taking that seed and pulling it out and looking at it every day to see if it's growing) eventually, you'll kill it. It never will produce. You have to leave it planted in the ground.

Water It
What else has to happen, normally, to get a seed to grow? It takes one more thing: you have to water it. Seeds have to have water or they'll dry up and die.

What are you going to water the seeds with? The Word of God. Ephesians 5:26 talks about being washed with the water by the Word.

How are you going to do it?

The same way you planted it, only instead of saying "I believe I received it," just open your mouth and say what the Word says over that seed.

If you've planted a seed for healing, just keep watering it. Say, "I believe I'm healed. Himself took my infirmities and bare my sicknesses. By whose stripes I was healed. If I was then I am, so I believe I'm healed."

Daily water that seed. Keep the Word going over that seed.

If it's healing you need, plant seeds for healing. If it's financial need, plant seeds for prosperity. If it's wisdom that is needed, plant seeds for wisdom. If it's knowledge and understanding that you need, plant seeds for that. If it's strength, protection, whatever it is, plant the seed and then keep watering it.
