Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (Rom. 8:35)

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? God loves you so much, no wonder He is going to answer your prayer. He is not holding back. And He's not some big judge that you have to somehow cleverly convince to bless you. All that is not necessary. What is necessary is that you understand that He just flat out loves you.

Well then, who shall separate us then from the love of His anointed One, and who shall separate us from the Spirit of Love? Shall tribulation, test, and trial? No, that won't stop God. How about distresses? No, that is not going to stop His love. Will people persecuting you separate you from His love? No way. Surely famine separates you. That is not going to stop it either. Will lack? That is not going to stop it. Danger or guns? No (we don't have swords today, we have guns).

As it is written for thy sake, we are killed all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. It doesn't say we are sheep for the slaughter. It says we are accounted as sheep. In other words, there are people who look at us count us as easy prey. But even they cannot stop God's love for you, because Jesus has made you an overcomer.

In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Paul was persuaded that God loved him. And he was persuaded that nothing would separate him from God's love. The question is to you, Are you persuaded? He said I am persuaded that nothing that is here today or anything coming in the future shall be able to separate him from that love.

Are you persuaded? It doesn't matter how big it is, how strong it is, how mean it is, how wide it is. It doesn't matter what it is, it will not be able to separate you from God's love, because His love causes you to be justified. His love causes you to be glorified.

His love causes you to walk in the image and resemblance of Jesus. His love causes your prayers to be answered. His love causes all things to work together, to work out for your good whether it wants to or not. And there is nothing that can stop that love from getting to you. Are you persuaded today? Then let that be the prayer that comes forth out of your mouth.

Are you facing a test and trial right now? Are you facing a tribulation right now? Is there anything that is distressing or laden in your life right now? It will not be able to conquer you. You will conquer it, instead of it conquering you. If you will pray and if you remind yourself of how much God loves you, it will not reign in your life, but you will reign over it.
