Yet when he is found, he must restore sevenfold; He may have to give up all the substance of his house.
(Prov. 6:31)
Today's Confession: I am going to become too expensive for the devil to mess with.

Let me ask you a question. Have you ever had a blessing stolen from you? There are a number of ways that Satan will attack you hoping that you'll drop your guard so he can steal your blessing.

I grew up in the country, as we say, I'm a farm boy. And I wanted my kids to grow up in that kind of environment. They weren't that thrilled about it, but I wanted them to be around horses and cattle and the soil.

We didn't have a ranch, we had a "ranchette." I had a bull named Elijah that acted like a dog. He followed me everywhere I went. Later, I got another bull named Samson and a heifer named Mary. Soon we had a little Joshua. My herd grew to about fifteen.

Then, we got into horses. I bought a horse for every member of the family. Well, then you've got to have saddles. You've got to have a barn and stables. I mean, we really got into this thing. Finally, my accountant said, "This is no longer a hobby, Jerry. You are now the owner of the 4 S Ranch." I was loving it!

Then a man made me a beautiful saddle for my horse, Jubilee. And one day, somebody broke into my tack room and stole all my saddles.

I can't stand a thief and that bothered me for weeks. I've been known to give things away, but when he came on my property, broke into my tack room, and stole my saddles...the fire of God was in my eyes and I don't know what was in my flesh, but it was fiery, too. I just can't stand a thief. Mainly because he has no regard for what I went through to acquire what he just stole from me.

The Lord said to me, "I've never seen you so mad." I said, "I'm real mad. If I could catch him..." He said, "Why don't you act that way about the devil?" I said, "We're not talking about the devil right now. I want that guy." He said, "The devil steals from you, and you let him get away with it. I'm surprised at the way you're reacting to this."

He said, "You're so mad you can hardly see straight. You're hoping he'll come back, just so you can get revenge." He said, "I've never ever seen you this way where the devil is concerned and he's stealing from you every day.' I suddenly realized what God was saying to me.

The devil is stealing from the Body of Christ! Some members just give up and let him do it. They don't even put up a fight. The devil's stealing off of us, and we just sit there and let him get away with it.

God says: "But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold." Proverbs 6:31

If you'll begin making the devil pay it all back, it will finally get to the point that you will get too expensive for the devil to mess with!
