There is nothing like having people who pray for you! The thing I most value in any friendship or relationship…is prayer! I believe in the power of prayer. I have experienced the absolute, tangible, life-changing power of prayer.

How about you? I am sure you feel the exact same way. Isn't it a wonderful thing when the Holy Spirit prompts people to pray for things according to His will?

I have been on both ends of the prayer spectrum. I have been led by the Lord to pray for others and I have been the recipient of the prayers of wonderful pray-ers! During difficult days, we have needed and requested the prayers of others and how thankful we have been for the people who have been so willing to sacrifice their time to pray for us!

I love how the Amplified Bible lays out this verse…

For I am well assured and indeed know that through your prayers and a bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) this will turn out for my preservation (for the spiritual health and welfare of my own soul) and avail toward the saving work of the Gospel.

Between the faithful prayers of dear-hearted, Jesus-loving people and the supply of the Spirit…the Lord preserves and empowers us to do His will and to preach His gospel. What a blessing!

If you are a pray-er…may the Lord reward you mightily for the prayer you have sown into the lives of others. May He empower and lead you to keep praying and making tremendous power available for others!

If you need prayer…may the Lord raise up pray-ers to lift you up to the Lord and may He answer in tangible ways for your spiritual health and welfare.

Say It:
Father, I thank You so much for those who have prayed for me. For those who have sacrificed their time, sleep and personal life to lift me up to You. I thank You for answering those prayers. Today, I pray for them and I ask You multiply every prayer they have prayed back to them and reward them mightily. Father, I ask You to help me be a pray-er for others. Help me listen to the voice and promptings of the Holy Spirit so that I pray for those You lay on my heart. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
