I have been, like Mary, pondering so many things in my heart. Deep things. End of days things.

Among them how the Lord had caused me to know for months that Mr. Donald Trump was going to be the next President of the United States of America. I am not quite ready to write about it in the amazing detail that it happened. I will say it involved visions of Jesus given to a former Muslim who shared each one with me. I told a little about it Wednesday November 16 on the Noon Live Streamed Prayer. You can go on archives and listen. I phoned in at the very first of the hour and didn't speak too long.

Throughout all the visions the Lord said He had prepared Mr. Trump for this purpose to protect believers in America, to protect Israel, and to protect Jerusalem. Even to the last day before the election (when it looked the least probable) the Lord confirmed the fact that Mr. Trump would win, but said that the Church must pray for this president and our leaders like we have never before prayed.

That we had to obey 1 Timothy 2 as we had never before obeyed.

We can and will surely do it.

My daughter-in-love Candace (Chip's wife) sent me this Andrew Murray quote:

"The man who mobilizes the Christian church to pray will make the greatest contribution to world evangelization in history."

That very thing is being (and has been done for some time) God's mobilizing His army, His Body to pray. How thrilling to have seen them operate in recent events.

And how thrilling that they are in place to help the upcoming administration govern through their obedience to His admonition:
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
(1 Tim 2:1-4)
