To become an effective witness, you must learn to place absolute confidence in the integrity of God's Word. When God says something, He means what He says. When He says He will do something, it will be done.

When we plant the seed of God's Word in the hearts of people, God has said that it will not return to Him void, but that it will accomplish His purpose in that person's life.

It is not always our job to reap results, at least not immediate and visible results. It is our job, however, to plant the Word. We are to sow the Word of God. He has promised that when we do, it will not return to Him void.

God Will Hasten His Word to Perform It
I will hasten my word to perform it (Jer. 1:12).

It should encourage you in your witnessing to know that not only will God's Word not return to Him void, but He will also hasten to perform it.

Don't be overly concerned if some people don't respond instantly to your witness.

That's not always the most important thing at the moment. You have planted the seed, you have shared the Word. Just remember, God has promised that not only will it not return void, but He Himself will hasten to perform His Word in that person's life.

In other words, I am saying that if you will go forth and plant the Word, God will see to it that it is performed. You are not to worry about the results. You are to rely on the integrity of God's Word. Do your part, then rest assured that God will do His.
