God truly wants us to share our faith with confidence and boldness. You'll notice that it becomes easier to share our faith the more we share it. But even the Apostle Paul asked Christians to pray for him so that he would be bold in sharing his faith. Notice this section of Scripture:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.Paul not only asked these Christians to pray that doors of opportunity would be opened, but also that he would be bold when he did share his faith.
(Eph. 6:18-20)
I believe that we can pray this same prayer for ourselves and others. You need to pray and ask God to give you boldness in sharing your faith. He'll do the rest. Notice how these prayers worked for Paul.
"For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming to you was not in vain. But even after we had suffered before and were spitefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God in much conflict" (1 Thess. 2:1-2).
