God chose us to be a favored generation. You may feel inadequate or insufficient but God still has chosen you. God doesn't choose like we would; we look at the person's appearance but God looks at the heart.

God chose David to be a giant killer over his brothers. God chose Gideon to be a mighty man of valor. In their own eyes they may not have seen themselves as prime choices, but God doesn't think or choose like we would.

God chose a stuttering man named Moses to deliver His people. God chose a fearful man named Gideon. God even chose an enemy of the church by the name of Saul of Tarsus to bring His Word to the Gentiles.

Let's look at an example in the Word:
And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice. And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD'S anointed [is] before him. But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for [the LORD seeth] not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
(1 Sam. 16:5-7)
The New Testament also says this:
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
(1 Cor. 1:26-28)
God chooses us not because we are so hot, no—not because of our degrees or financial status and not because of our position in the church. (Any monkey can wear a suit, sit in the front row and clap their hands!) God is God and He can do whatever He wants! Praise God He is a "Man of His Word" or rather a faithful God that does not lie, He doesn't change His mind and Word every five minutes like some of us; no—we can trust that He will not violate His Word or covenant (2 Tim. 1:9).

I believe that in this generation, it is God's will for us to seek His face and ask for the nations (Ps. 2:8; Ps. 24:6). The nations are eagerly awaiting the manifestation of God's Kingdom. The human race, created by God, groans and wants to be free from the curse of sin; people want to be free from the bondages created by sin. They wait for your appearance to show them the way. They wait for you to show them the truth that sets them free in the Name of Jesus.

They are waiting to become the glorious children of God, to enjoy their redemption and freedom by the grace of God. We cannot stay silent and watch them suffer any more! We must get involved and be the deliverers, sharing God's power that will set them free!
Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later. For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who His children really are. Against its will, all creation was subjected to God's curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay. For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
(Rom. 8:18-22 NLT)
Paul wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit almost 2,000 years ago. Now is the time of the glory to be revealed in us. Now is the time that Paul was referring to as later. We are not waiting on God; God is waiting on us to receive our sonship and to set the captives free.

As you read this and meditate on the scriptures, the seed of the Word of His grace will bring forth life, grace and blessing.
