Has the popular culture divorced manhood from fatherhood? Some who have studied the decline of fatherhood in America point to a growing perception that being a committed, nurturing parent is inconsistent with real manhood.

That false belief may be a product of too many Hollywood action heroes and from a lack of real-life role models. In contrast, the Bible's greatest heroes were devoted fathers. The examples of Noah, Abraham, David and Joseph show us that it takes a real man to be a caring father.

My question of the day for men is, "Is a distorted view of manhood keeping you from being the father your family needs?"
