So many people have asked me, "How do I change my life?" I have had the opportunity to minister to many people on this subject and I would like to share some of these principles with you. Enjoy!

In the Amplified Bible we read the following, "Do not be conformed to this world [this age], [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed [changed] by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideas and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]." (Rom. 12:1-2 AMP)

Transformation is change. God expects us to transform and conform our thinking to His Word. As we apply the revelation of His Word to our life, we are making changes or maturing in the things of God. Yes, it's a process but, it does not have to take a long time however, there are levels of maturity.

Getting to higher levels of maturity is based on your obedience to God's Word on a continual basis and not just every once and a while. Many Christians today believe that all they have to do to live a victorious lifestyle is to simply be born again. Getting born again is one step towards living a victorious lifestyle however there is more to it as we walk this life out.

We have many things that we need to learn about Christ Jesus, if we are going to live a victorious lifestyle. In 2 Timothy 2:15 it reads, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

This tells us that we could "wrongly" divide the Word of God. We find in John 17:17 that "God's word is truth." If you want to get the results of a victorious lifestyle then you need to make the choice to change. You must accept God's Word to be the absolute truth and final authority in your life.

A believer is one who believes that what God has said in His Word is true in their own life. They believe in God's promises from His Word regardless of what people have said or thought about them. Remember, people's opinion about you can and will change but what God has said about you never changes.

He will never change as it says in Malachi 3:6. God does expect us to change by renewing our minds using His Word. In Roman 10:17 it states that "faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God," and James 2:20 states "faith without works is dead."

Therefore, God expects us to live a victorious lifestyle. We do that by transforming our thinking using our faith (faith is having confidence in God) to conform to His way of thinking, doing and being right.

God knows He is victorious! What about you?
