Agree With God

by Deborah Butler | Uncategorized

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15 KJV).

We need to agree with God. When you study the Bible you will find out what is God’s will for you. Once you find out God’s plan and purpose for your life, and you decide to agree with God, then you won’t let anyone other than God define His will for your life. You will find that His design for you is success, healing, and safety—to be completely whole, because He loves you.

It really is easy if you understand the love of God, and how much God loves you. When you understand His love, you won’t have a problem asking Him for things or receiving things from Him. What God has provided for us is not based on ourselves…it is based on Him. It’s based on His love for us.

So get the Word for yourself and you’ll see that He wants you healed, delivered, and free from all burdens and bondage. You will see for yourself that Jesus came to remove all burdens from your life and to destroy every yoke that’s holding you back.

Some preachers have for years have preached other preacher’s sermons, missing the revelations in the Bible that God had for them. They did not allowing God to give them revelation of what His word says.

In the same manner, many Christians have done the same. They have taken the word of a preacher and did not validate it with the Word of God.

It is necessary to hear the word of God preached, but it is just as necessary to see for yourself that what they are saying in the Word of God. In other words, if you have a Bible, and you can read, and you are filled with the Holy Ghost, then you have the prescription for revelation knowledge from Heaven.

You must take time daily to study the word of God for yourself and allow God to direct you by His word.

I define revelation knowledge as what the Bible means to you, not what it means to somebody else. You must spend enough time in the Word of God to find out what He has said to you. You want to know what God has for you.

It’s good that He’s got it for someone else. But you want to know His will for you. You get that by studying the word of God for yourself. Then when you know His will for you, you can agree with God and break out his blessings.
