Are you careful to protect your business from those who might cause contention?

by Steve Marr | Articles, Business

Are you careful to protect your business from those who might cause contention?

Paul wrote, “…keep your eye on those who cause dissensions…” (Romans 16:17, NASB).

Contentious people can infect any business and destroy morale.

When employees gossip, spread untruths or others flap at the mouth causing trouble, step in immediately.

Explain and confirm what was said, state why the comment was unacceptable and insist on changed behavior.

Confirm positive changes but be quick to confront any future offenses.

The strength required not to allow contention to grow will pay great dividends with great company morale.
