For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.
This verse says that God created everything. God made everything in heaven and on earth, everything seen and unseen, all authorities, rulers, and powers. The reality is that God is working His plan with us even when it doesn’t seem like He is really in charge.
The Message Bible says: For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels–everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him.
Heavenly and earthly influences, visible and invisible powers, thrones and sofas are all part of God’s creation. He is bringing to pass His immaculate purpose and plan for our lives. When He made the world and all that is in it, He had us in mind. How awesome is that?
When God created this world, the part I can see and the part I can’t see, He had me in mind.
