Do you maintain business confidences?
King Solomon wrote, “He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets” (Proverbs 11:13, NASB).
We may have confidential information like future business plans, pricing or that a colleague may be dismissed.
Keeping your mouth shut is a key to maintaining trust with your boss.
In the past, I have found some excellent managers unable to keep quiet about privy matters.
The result was I never again discussed confidential information and was much less likely to promote them in the future.
When in doubt, keep quiet for future success.
