Are you careful to abide by and follow through on your boss’s instruction?
King Solomon wrote, “He who keeps a royal command experiences no trouble, for a wise heart knows the proper time and procedure” (Eccl. 8:5 NASB).
We may disagree with our boss’s instruction or procedure. However, don’t just change the orders on your own.
If you disagree, follow through as instructed. Then set up a time to meet with your boss.
Explain what you would change and the benefits to the business of implementing that change.
If the boss disagrees, drop the issue and follow his or her directives and stay with your business team.
