God Can Get it To You if He Can Get it Through You

“Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth” (Eph. 4:27-28 KJV).

Too often, people wonder can God get the blessing to me? That’s not the question if God can get it to you, it’s whether or not God can get it through you. Then once He gets it through you to someone else, He can give you a harvest.

Now I was once in a meeting where Kenneth E. Hagin was ministering. And after the meeting, the Lord told me to go give Brother Hagin $500. But, you know, he drives a nicer car than I. He has a bigger ministry than mine. I’m sure he’s got more money than I.

But I didn’t hesitate. I knew that was the Holy Spirit. So I went back there and gave him a check for $500. And he said, “Glory. Hallelujah. Believe God preacher.” As I walked out of that auditorium a preacher walked up to me, shook my hand and gave me a check for $1,000.

The true wisdom of God is accepting whatever God says. If you love God, you’ll do what He says. Your attitude will be, “I love you Father, so I’ll do it twice. I’ll do it three times. Whatever you want I’ll do it.” A lot of times people make decisions based on what they see rather than just following the Holy Spirit.

Following the Holy Spirit is the key to the blessing. When the Holy Spirit is ministering unto you to give to someone, follow Him. Don’t be moved by what you think that person needs or doesn’t need.

In fact you might have heard them say the Lord just blessed them with $100,000. And you’ve only got $1,000. You think, “Why should I give it to them?”

That’s God’s business, not your business.

Besides I’ve learned having been a pastor for so many years, sometimes that person with the biggest car, biggest house, finest clothes is also in the most debt. They’re in the most trouble because they don’t have any discipline. And God’s being gracious to them by having you put food on their table.

Now they might be getting in the fine car, and they might be in a house that’s beautiful and all of that, but they may not have a dime. You don’t know and you can’t make that judgement. But God will lead you to plant seed so that from that seed He can produce a harvest for you.
