audacityThere is one thing that may be the most important factor in determining what kind of success you have in your life.

It's probably not what you think.

It's not your education. It's not your bank balance. It's not your family, your job, or your fitness.

All of those things are good, but I believe what matters most is . . . your audacity!

Some people only think of audacity as brash, arrogant, and rude; the audacity I'm talking about is bold, courageous, and determined.

Years ago I would have never been described as audacious. I was so consumed with insecurity and fear. With God's help, my life is completely transformed and I want the same for you.

Let me share with you some areas I've found it's important to develop a godly audacity in.

First, you must develop the audacity to believe in yourself.

Do you have the audacity to believe in the dreams God's placed in your heart? Do you have the boldness to think they could actually happen? What do you have the courage to pursue?

Someone once said that the worst day in heaven would be if God gave us a glimpse of what we could have had, could have done, and could have been, but we gave up.

I want you to develop the audacity to do what God's put in your heart to doregardless of your current circumstances!

My dad was a simple automotive paint and body repair man when he surrendered his life to the Lord. He was in much debt, with a struggling marriage, and a failing business. At a point of desperation, he cried out to God saying, "Lord, I'm a failure! I'm a nobody. What would you want with me?"

He heard the Lord say, "Don't worry about it, son. I'm a master at making champions out of nobodies."

He started to believe that God could use a paint and body repair man to impact the world. He started to see himself as a champion. He developed audacity to do great things for God!

The same change can take place in you. I want you to realize that you are a masterpiece created by the very hand of Almighty God, you are not a mistake, it's not too late, and you have what it takes to do great things!

You also must have the audacity to believe each day matters.

It's the seemingly little, insignificant things you do on a daily basis that propels you to the top. It's also the little habits you don't develop that will continue to keep you from achieving your dreams.

You've probably heard the saying, "You can't hire someone to do your push-ups!" You have to do the work.

You can't hire someone to listen to faith-building messages for you, read books for you, confess your goals and declarations, plan your day, listen to the Holy Spirit, and develop your relationship with the Lord.

Every 24 hours, you have is a gift from God and an opportunity to grow and prepare for your dreams.

When you have the audacity to believe today matters, you will do what it takes to get the most out of your day. That's a big key difference between successful people and others.

Remember this: What's simple to do is also simple not to do. So, stick with your positive daily habits and you will get positive results.

I've seen God move in the most miraculous ways and I'm convinced this is one of the greatest actions to catapult you into a whole new level of blessings and fulfillment:

You must have the audacity to give.

Growing up in a home of strong faith, it was demonstrated and ingrained in me . . .

You may not have what you need, but you are never without the seed that will produce it.

A friend of mine was at a conference years ago when he heard the minister say, "Some of you are supposed to give $10,000 tonight." My friend had worked hard and saved exactly $10,000. He heard the Lord tell him, "That's you." He replied, But Lord, that's all I have." The Lord said, "That's all I'm asking for." Wow!

He obeyed, and since that day, he has never lacked and God has blessed him in amazing and significant ways.

I'm not saying you have to give everything you have. But, I am saying, you need to obey when God tells you to give.

Any time God asks you to give something, get ready, He is about to affect your destiny!

When you develop the audacity to give in obedience to God, you're sowing towards the dreams He's placed in your heart. You are setting powerful spiritual laws into motion on your behalf.

As you develop audacity in these areas, I believe you will break free from the excuses that have held you back for too long and stir you to take courageous steps toward your future.
