Did the Old Testament Jews (spoken of in the Bible) have healing of sickness and disease as part of their covenant with God?

Yes! If the Children of Israel (Old Testament Jews) obeyed the Law of Moses, God would provide physical healing for their bodies. As a matter of fact, as long as they were obedient to the Law, they would not even experience a sickness or disease from which to be healed. Let's examine the following Scriptures:
Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.

And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you....

And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.
(Deut. 7:12-13, 15 NKJ)

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill.
(Ex. 23:25-26 KJV)
God actually took sickness away from them. He told it not to come near them and it had to obey! Healing was part of their covenant blessing.

Today, healing is also part of our New Covenant (1 Peter 2:24), but we receive healing by faith and not our acts of righteousness (2 Cor. 1:18-20). Thank God for divine healing!
