"And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us" (Rom. 5:5 KJV)

Just as love is in you, healing is in you. The first fruit of the spirit is love. Well, that means then, God is not pouring out, giving you some special love pouring out from heaven. When you were born again, the love of God is in you because the Holy Ghost is in you; He is the love of God. You have the ability to walk in love with anybody you want to.

You can walk in love even with your enemy. By walking in love I mean you don't fight them and try to get back at them, but you love on them, pray for them, bless them. You can do as Jesus said: pray for those who despitefully use you.

That's walking in love to pray for somebody who's been messing all over you. Why do you do that? Because you've come to know the love of God, and you do as He says. And so I turn to God's love that's shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost. Love is not in the air somewhere, it is inside you.

It's not just the love of God that is within you by the Holy Ghost; it's manifested outwardly, and so is healing power. The power of the Lord was present to heal them in that room. That was the last days of the Old Testament. In the New Testament, the power of the Lord is not just in a room, the power of the Lord to heal is in you.

I Timothy 4:14 says, "Neglect not the gift that is in thee…."

If I don't neglect it, then how in the world do I cause it to be manifested? Verse 15 says to meditate upon these things. Continually think on them. Chew upon this. Meditate upon these things; give yourself wholly to them. That means give your mind, soul and body to the anointing that is in you.

Now, He didn't disconnect that last verse from the former verse. There is in you the gift of God; He's the healing power of God, and He's the Holy Ghost. When you start meditating God's Word about your healing, you begin to think about what it said. Then you will begin to see it on the inside. It will be more real to you than the problem. Then healing will manifest.
