The first way God speaks to us is through the Word. God is speaking to you right now, using this format. People may think that getting in God’s Word is just a waste of time, but this is the way God speaks to his people. You ought to pray before you go to church or read the Word so that you can flow with the Holy Ghost.
God just spoke to me this morning. When the Lord speaks to me, I write it down and go back and look at it. When you write down what God says to you, you are showing Him that you value His words. Also, you are helping commit those words to memory. How will you know when the Lord says something to you if you don’t write it down?
Prayer for Today
Father,
I value your Word. Thank you for men and women who are faithful to preach your Word and shepherd us in your Truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
