And to whom did He swear that they should not enter His rest, but to those who disobeyed [who had not listened to His word and who refused to be compliant or be persuaded]? So we see that they were not able to enter [into His rest], because of their unwillingness to adhere to and trust in and rely on God [unbelief had shut them out].
(Heb. 3:18-19 AMP)
Have you ever felt as though your doorway to the promises is shut?

I believe that if we will examine what the Lord has revealed about entering our Promise Land of inheritance, we will find that the door has been open all along.

If you have been finding your door shut, it may very well be that you are attempting to enter it through the wrong way or are not understanding the clear steps needed to pass through. Look at what is revealed here in Hebrews for us to know the way.
[Therefore beware] brethren, take care, lest there be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart [which refuses to cleave to, trust in, and rely on Him], leading you to turn away and desert or stand aloof from the living God.
(Heb. 3:12 AMP)
Can you see here where they missed the door opening of God through unbelief and lack of trust?

I know how we faith people stand our ground firmly to other Christians about our faith and firm trust. But it's important to remember that you do not need faith for what you already have and for who you already are!

Faith is what you have when you do not have what it is you want or desire! I have found that the very teachings I have treasured are the very points of challenge when entering a new level of promise.

For example, it is easy to have healing faith when you are not challenged with symptoms of the curse. It also is very easy to stand in a position of financial strength—as long as there is money in your bank account.

Still, God grants us an opportunity to use what we have learned in entering new levels. You must exercise the truths that you have been taught to step through the doorways of opportunity—doorways that can take you to the next level in God.

This will most often take a little more effort than a few prayers or a day of confession. I have found that I have had to take thoughts captive at all times of the day to hold the truths I had learned for my faith to prevail.

Many times I have had to stand for days—even weeks—upon these truths to enter that place called rest that is available to all of Gods children. If you cannot stand in a similar fashion, chances are you may not know it well enough.

Return to what you already know and apply what you have learned thus far until the mind agrees that it is the truth. If God has said it, there is no denying it as truth.

The mind, on the other hand, is waiting for the washing or cleansing from the devil's deceits and distortions of those truths. Apply your washing vigorously through confession and the mind will eventually be cleansed.

Your doorways are open wide—waiting for you to pass through. God's promises still stand; are you ready to enter in and obtain them? The Lord says "come and enter into your blessing."

Realize today that in order to prevail, you must apply the truths you have told others about and stand in the revelations that God has given you.

We have all heard the old saying "If you are not living it, you do not believe it!" Well, that is true and many of God's children of faith are speaking truths to others that they themselves are not living by.

Allow me to ask you this one thing: What do you know as truth?

Apply what God has revealed to you and stand strong in the truths He has given for He always gives us what we need to succeed.
