Jesus Loves Me...
This is one of the most well known phrases a child learns in Sunday School, yet the truth of it seldom moves from the head to the heart in a way that releases fearless faith.

John was the Apostle of Love. He wrote more about the love of God than any other Apostle. He also understood that he was loved by Jesus as demonstrated by the way he spoke about himself as; the disciple that Jesus loved (John 13:23; 19:26; 20:2).

He took liberty with the Person of Jesus by leaning on His breast and always was found in close physical proximity to Jesus. He had great faith (trust) because he knew he was loved by Jesus.

"For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love" (Gal 5:6 AMP).

Faith (absolute trust) is activated and energized by love. What kind of love is this? It is the agape love of God; totally different than the love we relate to in the world.

This love gives at its own expense and expects nothing in return. "God so loved that He gave..." (John 3:16). In giving Jesus Christ as the atoning sacrifice for the sins of mankind, He shed His own divine blood out of this very great love for you and me.

"He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?" (Rom 8:32 AMP).

This I Know...
If God be for us, who can be against us? Who can be our foe, if God is on our side? Who shall bring any charge against the beloved of the Lord? Who is there to condemn us?

Who shall ever separate us from Christ's love? Nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God that is demonstrated in Jesus Christ our Lord!

What good thing would He withhold from those who walk uprightly? If we find the reality of the fact that, "I am the disciple that Jesus dearly loves and highly esteems," then all anxiety, worry, distress, torment and fears will vanish into nothing.

Only righteousness, peace and joy will reign triumphant in our lives. We gain the surpassing victory through Him who loved us; we are more than conquerors amid anything and all that seems to surround and threaten us. Why? Jesus loves me, I am the disciple that Jesus dearly loves and highly esteems!

Sing it to yourself! Speak it out loud! Jesus loves me, He chose me! I am complete in Him! I am the disciple that Jesus dearly loves and highly esteems! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so! Little ones to Him belong, they are weak but He is strong!

Yes, it is true. Jesus loves you! You are the disciple that Jesus dearly loves and highly esteems!
