God wants us to step out in faith and that requires trust that He will walk with us through the changes in our lives.

I love this passage in Proverbs:
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways, know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
(Prov. 3:5-6 AMP)
If we're not careful, our own negative thoughts and negative input from others can cause us to become so fearful that we begin to doubt God.

We can't allow ourselves to do that because it will paralyze His plan for our lives! We have to be filled with faith and trust in Him.

Some close friends of mine recently stepped out in faith and bought some property on which to construct a building to better accommodate their expanding carpet business.

We prayed for the right property to be available for sale and claimed all that God wanted them to have. Even so, they experienced some challenging moments with the "what if" syndrome.

What if the money didn't come in for construction? What if changing locations caused customers to be unable to find them?

Okay, but what if business was better than ever? What if trusting God and stepping out in faith brought in so many customers they could barely handle all of the new business?

We'll never know some things until we factor in trust and step out in faith.
