"And the apostles said unto the Lord, INCREASE OUR FAITH. And the Lord said, If ye had faith AS A GRAIN OF MUSTARD SEED, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you" (Luke 17:5-6).

Do you know that with God, just a little faith will get you much? How do I know that? Because in Luke 17:6, Jesus didn't say that you had to have faith as a mustard tree. He said all you needed was faith as a mustard seed! A mustard seed is very small.

In fact, seeds are always smaller than the product they produce. Jesus was telling the disciples that the faith they had was sufficient. That's why when the disciples asked Jesus to increase their faith, He told them that their faith was a seed that just needed to be planted.

When you pray, maybe you've thought to yourself, I just don't have enough faith to believe God! According to this passage, I think Jesus would probably tell you, "You've got all the faith you need. Just use what you've got! Plant the faith you have, and that's how it will be increased."

You know, many believers are convinced they can't do certain things, so they never try. They're always looking at their own limitations - even their own faith limitations. But God has no limitations. He said, "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" (Jer. 32:27).

Do you know what that scripture tells me? It says that there's nothing that you and God can't do together. If you'll team up with God and use the faith you have, you and God can move mountains!

Some Christians say, "Oh, I can believe God for the little things in life. But when it comes to believing God for something big, I don't have enough faith for that."

But Jesus said, "...If thou canst believe, ALL THINGS are possible to him that believeth" (Mark 9:23). He didn't say there was a difference between faith for little things and faith for big things.

Maybe you think it takes a lot of faith to believe God. But that's not what Jesus said. All you need is faith as a grain of mustard seed.

Therefore, if you have any faith at all, you have enough to receive whatever you need from God. Now all you've got to do is plant the faith you have! How do you plant it? By saying what God's Word says - that's standing on the promises of God. Say what God says belongs to you, and keep on saying it!

You don't need lots of faith for bigger faith projects. You simply need to use the faith you have by taking God at His Word and acting on it! All it takes to receive from God is a little bit of faith in a great big God!
