I wish above all  things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.
(3 John 2)
The Secret to Life
The way of godly leads to life; their path does not lead to death. (Prov. 12:28)

That is the secret to life- being right with God.

Live in the knowledge of that and nothing can hurt you. All the fiery darts of the devil are quenched with our shield of faith because when you know what the Word says you can stand strong in times of trouble or opposition.

Our standard of living is tied directily to how our soul is doing. The souls is where faith resides and faith is something that has to be fed daily. Not only do we live by faith according to Hebrews 10:38, but without it we cannot please God nor can we whip the enemy.
(Heb. 11:6; 1 Peter 5:8-9)

We should be in a constant state of believing God for something, if not for ourselves then certainly for others.

We all know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). That means for us to stretch our faith the Word has to grow in us daily.

What the Word Says
The book of Acts makes three progressive statements about the Word of God.
  1. The Word of God increased (Acts 6:7)
  2. The Word of God grew and multiplied (Acts 12:24)
  3. The Word of God grew mightily and prevailed. (Acts 19:20)
From its infancy to a dominating force, our faith becomes something to be dealt with.

Stretching Our Faith
Let's start believing for those lost family members, believing for better marriages, wiser children, increase for our businesses and our families and revival in our communities.

An increase in the quality of our life comes from an increase in the quality of our soul- and that only comes as we grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we grow we can experience:
  1. An increase in the knowledge of scriptures.
  2. An ability to multiply that knowledge as we share it with others.
  3. A relationship with Jesus in which His Word becomes the number one motivating factor in our life.
It's time to stretch our faith.

Faith Speaks
It's important to speak the Word over your situation and life. Don't just talk circumstances — we've got to speak the truth and the truth is God's Word.

Here are some great confessions to speak over you and your family:

I take the shield of faith and I quench every fiery dart that the enemy brings against me. (Eph. 6:16)

Because I am a doer of God's Word, I am blessed in my deeds. (James 1:22, 25)

I do not lack, for my God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:19)

I have received the gift of righteousness and I reign as a king in life by Jesus Christ. (Rom. 5:17)
