How will we be able to walk in the Spirit even though we are clothed with this flesh? With everything going on in the world today, how are we ever suppose to make ourselves available to God?

Basically, we do this by spending more time pursuing the things of the Spirit than we spend pursuing the things of the flesh.

Pull Aside And Make Time
We will have to become dedicated to prayer and to fellowship with God. We will have to be dedicated to the Word of God and be willing to pull aside from this busy life around us to get alone with God so that He can guide us, teach us, and communicate with us.

If you spend time around people who have strong personalities, you will automatically be affected by them. You will find yourself doing the things that they do. Their mannerisms will rub off on you. You can't help it. It just happens.

Well, if you spend enough time with God, He is going to rub off on you!

Moses said, "Who am I to talk to Pharaoh?" And God told him, "Certainly I will be with you." God was saying to Moses, "It doesn't matter who you are. It is Who I AM that counts." All that Moses needed was to have God with him.

Your natural ability does not determine your usefulness. All you have to be is one who lives in the presence of God. He has the ability!

God does not look for ability. He looks for availability. Make yourself available to Him by praying in the Spirit, worshiping and fellowshipping with Him. He will begin to manifest His character, His nature, His glory and His Spirit in you. And that is what he wants to do.

From The Inside Out
God came to live inside of you, so that He can radiate from the inside out! That's what happened with Jesus.

On the Mount of Transfiguration, the glory of God radiated from within Jesus outward and He was transfigured. It will happen the same way in our day. "...His face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light" (Matt. 17:2).

God has never changed his ways. The glory of God will come from the inside of us, from the inner man, as we give ourselves totally to God and walk in the Spirit. We have been predestinated to be conformed to the image of Jesus (Rom. 8:29-30). God has reproduced Himself in the believer, so that He can show Himself to the world through the believer.

God desires that the earth be filled with His people who are full of His glory. Romans 8:18 says the suffering we will experience in giving up the things of this world is nothing compared to the glory of God that will be revealed in us. This glory is not just going to fall on us from above only, but it is also going to come out of us. God is living inside of us!

We are a group of people who are going to love God to the degree that we choose to go into our prayer closet and intercede, rather than to enjoy the pleasures of this world. That takes more dedication than it does to preach. When you are in the prayer closet, nobody sees it but God.

What is the result?
Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
(Gal. 6:7-8)
When we sow to the Spirit, we reap the high life—peace, prosperity, divine healing, all of the blessings of God. The blessings of God have always been offered to a people who serve Him and love Him with their whole heart.

But it begins with making ourselves more available to Him.
