As believers, we know that our job is not our source. God is our source. And as believers we have a major advantage. We hear the voice of God and He speaks to us to guide us into all truth and to protect us from fear and harm.

Still, He wants us to use His wisdom and His guidance wisely. He wants us to use His advice to remove burdens and destroy yokes. That's what the Holy Spirit does—He is the burden-remover and the yoke-destroyer.

How does that translate to your particular job or business? Easy. You need to begin to see yourself as a problem solver and as a producer. Start paying very close attention to your immediate surroundings and begin to use that inner voice to increase your production and to solve problems.

There is no employer that can afford to let someone go who is producing more for the business than he is being compensated. And if you are actively seeking solutions to problems, you will not be seen as "part of the problem."

Take A Look Around
There are opportunities all around you. Opportunities come to everybody, but it is the seeker who sees them and finds them. It is the doer who takes advantage of those situations and circumstances.

Start taking note of the problems that exist around you, and instead of going into your complaining closet or riding the excuses escalator, begin to ponder the problem and to seek solutions to that problem.

Anyone can complain and everyone seems to make excuses. Don't get caught up with the crowd. Go against the crowd by being grateful for your job and begin to vie for more responsibility and more money by becoming more valuable.

Solve a few problems. Become more productive and watch the money and the promotions begin to come your way.

What Is Your Special Asset?
In this day when many companies are letting people go, I strongly suggest that you become an expert at something. Put yourself in a position where people need to know what you know or need to have the service that you are uniquely qualified to provide.

Take some night courses and read some books that are directly related to your personal and financial goals. Do it everyday as part of your success diet.

These habits will put you into a position to handle adversity and achieve success!
