In my own case, I almost died three different times in my life.
One incident should have certainly killed me, and I can tell you that there is no natural explanation for why I'm still alive today.
Years ago, I fell asleep at the wheel of my car while driving on a certain stretch of highway. Back in those days, I was going to college at Eastern Michigan University, and I traveled that particular highway from Detroit every single day. So I knew that road like the back of my hand. I knew every bend and every turn.
At the time of this particular incident, I had been out very late at night for several nights straight, and I was trying to get to one of those 7:00 a.m. classes. As I was driving, I was fighting to stay awake.
I had the windows rolled down and the music turned up! I did everything I could think of to keep from falling asleep at the wheel.
I was going at least seventy miles per hour (back then, that was the speed limit). I fell asleep at the wheel, and when I woke up, I was miles down the road on a different stretch of highway!
To get to where I was on that highway, I had to have taken a huge turn, and I did it while I was asleep!
When I woke up with my head leaning on the driver's-side window, I was driving in my lane of traffic - as if I had been awake the entire time!
In my sleep, I had made that huge turn, even driving around a concrete wall. There was no way I could have gone around it without steering my car around it. The road was not straight!
It was as if someone else were driving my car that morning. And I know who it was. It was an angel of God!
An angel was protecting my life, making sure that I did not smack into that concrete pillar at seventy mph and wake up in Heaven with my work already finished!
You may have had circumstances in your own life in which you were spared. It was the ministry of an angel that spared you!
Angels are God's servants for you. They excel in strength, and they can protect you!
