Tommy got there first, putting his foot in a cyclone fence square and cleared it with one leap. I started to do the same. But when I went to leap, my foot slipped and I crashed to the ground. When I looked up, staring me straight in the eyes was the hound from hell! JAWS!

My mind was racing 100 miles an hour, I was about to meet Jesus, but this was not how I planned to meet Him!

I began screaming and yelling as Jaws commenced removing my leg from the rest of my body. Tommy was yelling "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus," and for a minute there I was sure that I was about to meet Him! Then suddenly, in the midst of excruciating screams, I started to realize that I was not feeling any pain.

I mean Jaws, for all indications, was killing me. I was screaming like I was dying, Jaws was biting and growling, pulling on my leg like he was killing me...but when I looked down I saw that there was no blood. No pain!

Then my lightning fast mind realized...Jaws had no teeth!

His fierceness and aggressiveness was based on my assumption that his name was "Jaws" and that he was a big bad guard dog and that he loved eating kids.

When I realized he was toothless, I stood up and shook him off my leg and I jumped over the fence. I got home for dinner, just in time.

Jaws was toothless! He had all the ingredients of being a terror but he lacked one thing - the teeth to carry it out.

Satan's ability to devour us is based on his ability to deceive us. Darkness is the atmosphere of deception. Deception is the highest level of ignorance and lowest level of knowledge.

The devil goes about AS a roaring lion! (1 Peter 5:8) And I'm here to tell you he's toothless and it's D.B.K.T. (Devil Booty Kickin' Time)!
