The path toward destruction can be changed by simply changing direction.

"I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes" (Ps. 119:59).

"Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight. Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain" (Ps. 119:35-36).

Eliminate these negative words completely:
  1. I can't
  2. I'm afraid of
  3. I don't think so
  4. Maybe
  5. If only
  6. I don't have time
  7. It's impossible
  8. I don't believe
  9. I doubt if I
  10. I wish I had a
Instead, make these positive words a part of your vocabulary:
  1. I can
  2. I'm confident I can
  3. I know so
  4. Positively
  5. I will
  6. I will make time
  7. With God it is possible
  8. I believe
  9. I expect the best
  10. I'm happy with what I have
Jesus teaches us that the difference between a wise man and a foolish man is their response to what they already know. With knowledge comes accountability. A wise man follows up on what he hears while a foolish man knows but does not act (Matt. 7:24-27).
