Is there anything wrong or right with a type of "Robin Hood" stealing? For example: robbing from rich people or businesses to give to the poor?

Stealing is wrong no matter from whom you steal.

Notice what the Bible says about this subject:
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
(Rom. 13:8-10)
God wants us to love our neighbor in the same way we love ourselves. Love never does wrong to one's neighbor. You can't steal from a major corporation or an individual, rich or poor, and love them. Love doesn't steal! It works no ill towards anyone.

Ephesians declares,
Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.
(Eph. 4:28)
Once again we're told not to steal, but to work with our hands. Find a respectable occupation and work. If we want to bless the poor, it should be from the funds we acquire through working.

God is not against us helping the poor; He simply wants us to help them with legal funds. We can surmise that Friar Tuck should have explained this biblical truth to Robin Hood!
