You will do well to pay close attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dismal (squalid and dark) place, until the day breaks through (the gloom) and the Morning Star rises (comes into being) in your hearts.

Do you know what the most important thing in your life is? It's not where you go to school. It's not even your family. The most important thing in your life is keeping your heart full of the light of God's Word.

You can have faith strong enough to change circumstances in your life. You can live in success instead of defeat, but you'll only do it on a continual basis by spending time in the Bible.

Proverbs 4 spells out this key to success in no uncertain terms:

My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
(Prov. 4:20-23)

If your heart is full of the Word, you can do well in school and be at the top of your class! You can pray for the salvation of your family and see results. When you give your attention to the Bible, every other area in you life will be successful. It is the answer to everything.

God's Word shows you how to live successfully, even in a dark world. When you walk according to what God has said, His wisdom shines a light on your pathway.

Continually focus your attention on God's Word, and you can win even when negative circumstances surround you. Keep you eyes on the light, and it will bring you through to victory!
