It has been said many times that God doesn't show favoritism. These same people contend that God loves everyone the same and wouldn't pass over one person to favor another. But actually, nothing could be further from the truth!

Although it is true that God loves all equally, He does favor certain people. The Bible is clear that His eyes are looking across the earth for someone—anyone—whose heart is loyal to Him so He can show Himself strong on his or her behalf (1 Chron. 16:9).

God longs to show Himself strong on behalf of His own family members. Nevertheless, some people are left to deal with their problems while others find His help. Some are passed over while others are visited by His supernatural provision and blessing.

Of course, God's blessings and benefits are meant to be enjoyed by every person. What makes the difference? It is really a matter of faith and obedience. God favors those who will live by His Word and yield to His authority in their lives.

The same principle applies to the kingdom of darkness. The destructive fruit of Satan's wicked plans will pass over some and land on others. You've seen it happen many times. Even good people fall prey to terrible things that could have been avoided if they had only followed God's plans and received His promises.

The book of Exodus relates one of the most dramatic events in history—the deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt—and that event depicts this very principle. The Passover that has been celebrated for thousands of years began with Israel facing a dark night of terror as death fell on Egypt and on all who would ignore God's demand.

On that dark night, thousands of people fell. Yet on that same night, millions of people were delivered from death. Why did some die and others live? God instructed His people to mark the doorposts of their houses with the blood of an animal sacrifice. Those who followed God's command were the ones who were delivered.

God has promised to deliver you from the attacks of your enemy and has given you supernatural peace and security. When He is on your side, you never have to fear what your enemies can do to you.

From Satan's point of view, you have become untouchable, as long as you keep your soul washed by the water of God's Word. As 1 John 5:18 in the Message Bible states: "We know that none of the God-begotten makes a practice of sin—fatal sin. The God-begotten are also the God-protected. The evil one can't lay a hand on them."

You are untouchable and God-protected. Satan cannot lay a hand on you. From God's point of view, you are covered with His love and His light because Jesus' blood has cleansed you.

You are protected by the blood on the doorposts of your life. You can walk out of any bondage, just as Israel walked out of Egypt, and you can walk into a life full of His protection and provision.

The Lamb of God has brought you under the umbrella of His protection, cleansed your heart, and given you the strength to overcome any strategy of the devil. The wicked one has no right to touch you, your family, your health, your money, or your life.

You have been bought with the price of Jesus' own blood. So take your stand in that place of divine protection by faith in His sacrifice, and become one of God's untouchables in the eyes of your enemy!
