People are often labeled in life as either a winner or a loser. Some seemed to be destined to win, others, to lose. But people who are losers don't have to stay that way.

With some adjustments, they can be turned into winners. For example, losers in sports can be made winners by training with a different coach. That same person becomes "another" person by making certain changes in their mindset.

In their mind's eye, they begin to see themselves as a winner instead of a loser. And before long they become that winner.

Well, God sees us all as potential winners, because He created us all in His image, and in Him there is no losing. But the devil tries to convince us that we are all losers. When the truth is, he is the only real loser there has ever been, ever since he tried to take over heaven, and got kicked out of there.

The devil has spent the last 2000 years trying to convince people that he is in charge, and that things will never be any better for us. I'm glad I know the truth.

Isn't it wonderful to know the devil is a defeated foe? Imagine how hard it would be trying to minister, and wondering if Jesus is going to win or not? It would be pretty hard to win someone to a God who is "on the way to victory," "struggling and fighting valiantly," "never giving up, and expecting to win."

No, the dust settled some 2000 years ago, and the devil is still defeated! Jesus won, and therefore, so have we! When the devil looks at us who are in Christ Jesus, all he sees is carbon copies of Jesus' anointing, power, and authority surrounding him, for we are heirs, and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus.

Imagine the terror he must feel. He felt terrified when Jesus came up out of that grave. Here, he had thought he won all this time. Imagine now as he looks around him in utter confusion as to how he is going to deal with tens of thousands of people with the power of Jesus, as Jesus had said, we would do yet greater works than He had done, because He went to His Father.

The devil thought he had a problem when Jesus was here in the flesh. How much more so now with multitudes of copies of Jesus running around telling him what he can do, and what he cannot do. You almost have to feel sorry for him...but don't. Keep the hammer down.

Remember the "Pop a Weasel" game in the arcades? There are a bunch of holes and the weasel would pop out of one of them. You'd take the big hammer and pop him one. Then he'd stick his head out of another hole, and you'd pop him again.

Now imagine about 20 people standing there with a hammer in each hand waiting to pound the sucker as soon as he sticks his head up. That's a picture of what the devil is having to deal with in these last days. By the time the body of Christ gets done with him, he will be glad to take his place in the Lake of Fire just to get away from all of us.

Thank You Jesus for winning for us! Thank You for healing us, and saving us, and delivering us from the evil one! We worship You, Lord Jesus, for You are worthy! For in You, we are all winners! And the devil is a loser.
