No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.Once we are born again, we are automatically inducted into the army of the Lord. We are commanded not to become entangled in the affairs of this world.
That does not mean we do not live in the world. It simply means we must remember who we are while we are in it.
Receive the Victory
You are a soldier chosen by God and on duty 24 hours per day. Make a decision to begin to learn who you are in God's army and how to use your mighty weapons of God to receive the victory Jesus has won for us.
Begin by reading, studying, and praying about who you are in Christ. Watch and listen to programs that teach and preach about who you are in Christ. Listen to tapes that help you to know who you are in Christ. And most of all, get into a Bible-teaching church that will help you know who you are in Christ.
You will begin to see your life take a turn for the better as never before as you begin to apply the principles of God's Word to your life.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
Because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.Knowledge of God's law (His Word) is so important to ensure victory for you. If you don't learn to exalt God's law, Satan will force his law upon you.
