I urge then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving he made for everyone—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to he saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
(1 Tim. 12:1-4)
God cannot sit still when He hears His people cry out! The problem is, most of us are too busy to take time to pray and cry out to Him. We can get so busy being busy for God, we don't make prayer a priority.

In the end, we'll find out it was those who prayed who were behind every success in ministry. Someday in heaven, when the rewards are being handed out, Brother Big Head will be sitting on the front row, expecting a huge trophy because he started a church.

He'll lean over to the fellow next to him and say, "Oh, yeah, I pastored a church for 47 years. I led 2,000 people to the Lord. I'll tell you all about it as soon as I get my trophy."

Then, when the Lord gives the trophy, instead of calling Brother Bighead's name, He'll say, "Where's Mama Smith?" Then He'll send an angel down to row seven million to fly Mama Smith up to the front.

When she gets there, He'll put that trophy in her hands and say, "Mama Smith, I want to give you this in honor of those 25 years you prayed before Me. Because of your prayers, I called Brother Big Head to come start a church. Because of your prayers, thousands of people were saved."

Then He'll turn to the front row and say, "Brother Big Head, I'm rewarding you by allowing you to carry Mother Smith's trophy for her."

I can tell you whose trophies I will get to carry when that day comes. One of them will belong to my mother and the other one will belong to a little woman who used to pray with her all the time. I'm preaching the good news today because of those two women.

I don't get any credit for it!

I do have some credit coming for the times I prayed and cried out to God on behalf of someone else. Rewards aren't the reason you pray those kinds of prayers. You pray them because of love.

Answer that call!
