"And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch" (Acts 5:12).

God wants us to ask Him for rain so that there can be an outpouring of His Spirit to cause a great revival and harvest of souls, and great anointing for the healing power of God manifest in the earth. When the anointing is high, people come to God willingly to be saved and delivered.

The first time I saw the outpouring of the Spirit of God, was in a tent meeting where R W. Shambach was preaching. It was almost 30 years ago. The anointing fell in that tent and the place fogged up with the glory of God. Then Brother Shambach just said, "If you want to be saved get up and run to this altar!"

I saw loads of grown big men, run and dive face forward in the dirt, weeping before God. People came running! I am sitting in the back with my wife watching this as people brushed by me, diving in the floor. Nobody had to say anything to them. They didn't even need altar workers.

They were saved right in the dirt. They were saved and filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking with tongues, getting delivered from drinking, drugs and cigarettes. It was the time of rain falling in that place. God said ask Him for that today. Many believers were added to the Lord that day.

In the time of rain, the anointing to heal is present. In the book of Acts, they started getting everybody they could that was sick, brought them in the streets so that as Peter passed by the anointing would heal them. When the rain begins to fall the word will travel fast.

It will go to neighboring towns, cities, states and countries. It will go all over the world. People want to go where the rain is falling. They want to go where the power is being manifested.

There is no need to go back to the times of the Book of Acts. God always does the latter greater than the former. When He finds the church that will ask Him for rain there is going to be a revival like the world has never seen. There will be an anointing that will flow like the world has never seen. There is going to be a harvest of souls like the world has never seen.

He will fall on the government causing them to do the right thing. He'll fall on your relatives, and you won't even recognize them. The Holy Ghost will straighten them up. God respects your prayer so much that He said without it He's not moving.

And then your prayers are so powerful to Him that if you ask Him, He'll do it. And He will move beyond what you ask Him. Let Him get in the door with your prayers and then give Him free course to move. Then watch the rain fall.
