I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone.
(1 Tim 2:1 NIV)
Most fitness experts will advise people desiring to lose weight or build strength to work out in the morning. There are studies proving people who work out in the morning are more likely to lose weight and are more likely to make better decisions for their bodies throughout the course of the day. For muscle building, getting the body moving in the morning enhances the production of the muscles throughout the course of the day. Now applying the same principle with prayer, I find that when I get up in the morning and pray, I build faith for my day.

As believers, we must make sure we are not stepping into our day out of God’s perfect will for our lives. This grants the ability to ask whatsoever and it is granted. It allows us to do the impossible not only in our own lives but we are multiplied in the lives of others to the glory of God.  This is how we please our Father because our Father has pleasure in giving to us the keys to the kingdom (His way for us to live). None of this is possible without faith. And without faith it is impossible to please God. This prayer of petition means we wholly depend upon God for life. He loves to have us ask for things.

We have to renew our minds daily to the faith that the Lord is pleased with. It is the Faith- Thee faith - the continued, habitual, on purpose, stick-to-it-believing in the Word above all else (past experiences, traditions, habits, routine behaviors and tendencies, expectations, personal desires). This faith is what we pray when we repent, when we intercede, and when we worship that we may hear from heaven.

This mind-renewing process will keep us from desiring the promise without fellowship. It will keep us from religious traps and aware of every luring scheme of Satan. It will keep us remembering He is our reward while everything else is the benefit of having the great reward. The process of prayer in the morning will give the answers needed before the day presents a problem.
