"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). To go into the entire world means every continent, every country, every town, every region, and even into every home.

Wow! That's a big job! In fact it's so big, that we could get overwhelmed. You might think, "But God, that's impossible! How can I go into all the world and preach?"

We maybe can't individually go to all those places, but as the whole body of Christ — that is, all of us Christians put together—we can. If each individual Christian obeys what God tells them to do personally, then every continent, and every country, and every home can be reached.

If we all listen to our hearts and do our part, we can reach the world!

There will be many Christians that never actually go across the ocean to tell others about Jesus. So how will they be able to obey the Great Commission? They can give money to support the ones that do go.

Their money helps the missionaries pay their bills so they don't have to get jobs like other people. That money can also go to buy books, tapes, Bibles, videos, plane tickets, and so on to help them in the job that God has called them to.

We can also pray for lost souls, both for people we know, and people we've never met. We can pray for the ministers and missionaries that go overseas. In fact our prayers may be the most important things we can give, because it's only with the power of prayer that God is able to change lives.

Even if we personally never go to another country, God still expects us to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus right in our own worlds. He expects us to tell our friends, relatives, teachers, neighbors, workmates, those on our sports teams—everyone we know about Jesus.

There are also many things we can use to help us preach the gospel. Besides just talking to them, we can also use books, tapes, videos, or write letters and emails to people to tell them about Jesus. But all of us have a wonderful part to play in helping with the "Great Commission.
