Thanksgiving and praise are an act of the will. You choose. You have a choice. The Lamb of the Cross gave you the right to choice.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
(Ps. 95:2)
Hallelujah! There is no better day to be joyful in the Lord and to offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving and praise.

He is moving mightily upon the face of the earth and has purposed to include you in this most wonderful time of global harvest.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
(Ps. 100:4)
You may not feel like you have anything to be thankful for. You may be going through a very deep and dark valley experience. Praise may be the farthest thing from your lips. Your situation may look hopeless.

But, consider this: "they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.(Ezr. 3:11)

The reason for thanksgiving and praise is not situational or circumstantial.  Giving thanks and praise is conditioned on the fact that God is good and His mercy endures forever.  Thanksgiving and praise are due because God has laid a Foundation for the house of God that has nothing to do with human ability or strength.  Jesus is the Cornerstone of God and is the foundation of your faith, your situation, your church.

Thanksgiving and praise are an act of the will. You choose. You have a choice. The Lamb of the Cross gave you the right to choice.

Will you now pay homage to a spirit of depression or to a demonic spirit of hopelessness?  Or will you worship the King of Kings?  Bring every thought into captivity and begin to thank God for the gift of His love and praise Him for Who He is. (2Co. 10:5; Psa. 69:30)
Let your thanksgiving be to God as a sacrifice upon the altar.  Let your requests be as incense.
(Phi. 4:6)
He cares for you!
