When you are with customers, does your cell phone interrupt you?

Jesus taught, "Take care what you listen to..." (Mark 4:24 NASB).

Three things occur when your phone interrupts time with customers.

First, the flow of conversation is interrupted and may never be reestablished in the same way.

Second, you may lose the gist of what your customer is saying and miss an important step in closing a sale or resolving an issue.

Finally, you send a message that your customer is less important than the phone call. That's a negative message.

Turn off your cell phone when meeting with clientele, and you will effectively connect with your customers.
