When hiring staff, do you hire those likely to positively respond to the incentives your company offers?

King Solomon wrote, "A worker's appetite works for him, For his hunger urges him on" (Prov. 16:26 NASB).

Every employer will offer different positives to prospective staff. A key management task is to identify those future employees who will respond well to the benefit structure we offer.

Some sales people become excited with commission-only pay, while others respond better to a fixed salary.

Others will work diligently to earn more days off while another wants the opportunity for more education.

Hire those who really desire the benefits you offer and reduce your staff turnover.
