Do you endeavor to truly understand your boss's vision and what is expected on the job?

King Solomon wrote, "A plan in the heart of a man is like deep water, But a man of understanding draws it out" (Prov. 20:5 NASB).

It's great when our boss is crystal clear and unmistakably explains the direction of the business or department.

Unfortunately, we don't always get that clarity.

Ask questions and determine the boss's vision and direction. Then adjust your work to support and fulfill that vision.

As you draw out your boss, you will be able to deliver work that exceeds the boss's expectations.
